Njema\u010dka mornarica je posljednjih mjeseci izgubila velik broj transportnih brodova koji su opskrbljivali brojne njema\u010dke garnizone na otocima u Egejskom moru pa je zapovjedni\u0161tvo odlu\u010dilo da s dva broda iz Jadrana barem donekle popravi kriti\u010dnu situaciju u Gr\u010dkoj. Naime, ve\u0107i dio od oko 200.000 BRT brodskog prostora zaplijenjenog u Jadranu u jesen 1943. Nijemci su dodijelili za Egejsko more, ali su gubici uslijed savezni\u010dke prevlasti u zraku bili toliko veliki da je stalno nedostajalo novih brodova.<\/p>\n<p>Tako je zapovijedaju\u0107i admiral Jadrana, kontraadmiral Joachim Lietzmann od vi\u0161eg zapovjedni\u0161tva dobio 12. velja\u010de 1944. naredbu da \u201c\u2026hitno i neodlo\u017eno uputi u Egejsko more dva trgova\u010dka broda.\u201d Naredbom su odre\u0111eni brodovi KAPITAN DIEDRICHSEN (ex-SEBASTIANOVENIER) i CITIA DI TUNIS!, talijanski brodovi zaplijenjeni nakon kapitulacije ltalije. lstovremeno je trebalo u Gr\u010dku uputiti i 12. flotilu minolovaca (R-\u010damci) koja je jo\u0161 ranije preba\u010dena iz zapadnog Sredozemlja u Jadran. lstoga dana zapo\u010dele su pripreme za operaciju, kojoj je odre\u0111en najvi\u0161i stupanj tajnosti. lsplovljenje iz polazne luke trebalo je biti no\u0107u, kurs brodova trebao je voditi vanjskom rutom, zapadno od dalmatinskih otoka, direktnom plovidbom do Gr\u010dke. Za\u0161titu na putu trebale su pru\u017eiti dvije torpiljarke pod neposrednim vodstvom zapovjednika 11. flotile za osiguranje. Za\u0161titu u Otrantskim vratima trebale su poja\u010dati dvije flotile torped1Jih \u010damaca prikupljenih u Boki kotorskoj i na otoku Krfu.<\/p>\n<p>U\u00a0 idu\u0107im\u00a0 danima\u00a0 brodovi\u00a0 su\u00a0 ubrzano\u00a0 pripremani za operaciju. Na trgova\u010dke brodove ugra\u0111ivani su dodatni protuavionski topovi, a planirano dokovanje \u201cCitta di Tunisi\u201d nlje se moglo obaviti prije 20. velja\u010de. Odlu\u010deno je da se i dvije nove korvete pridru\u017ee grupi za osiguranje konvoja, a zbog kratko\u0107e vremena odustalo se od prvotne namjere da se na trgova\u010dke brodove ugrade radari. Operacija je u me\u0111uvremenu po\u010dela dobivati i konkretan oblik. Najve\u0107i problem bio je nedostatak zrakoplovne za\u0161tite, jer njema\u010dka Luftwaffe nije imala\u2019na raspolaganju dovoljan broj lova\u010dkih aviona na tom podru\u010dju. Zato je\u00a0 odlu\u010deno da operacija treba zapo\u010deti pri sto lo\u0161ijim vremenskim uvjetima kako bi opasnost od savezni\u010dkih aviona bila minimalna. Tajnost operacije bila je izvanredno va\u017ena, pa su se pri planiranju i komuniciranju za ju koristile tri razli\u010dite sifre \u201cFrechdachs\u201d, \u201cGottendamerung\u201di \u201cL-ampenschirm\u201d. Pripreme i o\u010dekivanje lo\u0161eg vremena su se odu\u017eili. Na brodovima su ugra\u0111eni brojni novi protuavionski topovi, a iz Njema\u010dke SU stigla dva \u010dasnika za upravljanje protuavionskom vatrom te dva meteorologa za pra\u0107enje vremena i prognozu tijekom plovidbe. No zbog sna\u017ene bure moralo je, biti odgo\u0111eno dokovanje broda \u201cCitta di Tunisi\u201d, a 27. velja\u010de brod je za vrijeme pokusne plovidbe do\u017eivio havariju na oba pogonska stroja, koja se nije mogla otkloniti prije 2. o\u017eujka. Zato je zapovjedni\u0161tvo Mornari\u010dkih grupa Jug istog dana donijelo odluku da se odustane od slanja broda \u201cCitta di Tunisi\u201d u Gr\u010dku.<\/p>\n<p>Dana 28. velja\u010de KAPITAN DIEDRICHSEN ukrcao je teret ugljena u Rasi, a idu\u0107eg jutra je pod pratnjom jednog minolovca otplovio za Pulu, gdje su ga \u010dekale korvete i torpiljarke. lako je sto\u017eer admirala Jadrana dobio vise dojava da britanski lovci tipa Spitfire usprkos lo\u0161em vremenu \u2013 kisi i vjetru \u2013 pretra\u017euju tijekom dana sire podru\u010dje oko jadranskih Iuka, tom podatku nije bila posve\u0107ena pa\u017enja; Poslije krcanja vode i kompenzacije kompasa, \u201cKapitan Diedrichsen\u201d je bio spreman za put pa je konvoj napokon oko 18.30 sati 29. velja\u010de 1944. godine isplovio iz Pule i uzeo kurs prema jugu. Zapovjednik konvoja bio je kapetan korvete von Kleist, a sastojao se od torpiljarki TA 36 Stella Polare i TA 37 Gladio, korveta UJ 201 Egeria i UJ 205 Colubrina te minolovaca R 187, R 188 i R190. Posredno osiguranje pru\u017eali su torpedni \u010damci 3. i 24. flotile.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5911\" src=\"https:\/\/www.diving-shark.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/kapitandiederichsen1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"780\" height=\"505\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.diving-shark.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/kapitandiederichsen1.jpg 780w, https:\/\/www.diving-shark.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/kapitandiederichsen1-300x194.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.diving-shark.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/kapitandiederichsen1-768x497.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.diving-shark.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/kapitandiederichsen1-370x240.jpg 370w, https:\/\/www.diving-shark.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/kapitandiederichsen1-760x492.jpg 760w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 780px) 100vw, 780px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Istoga dana u rano poslijepodne talijansku luku Manfredonia, koja je bila u savezni\u010dkim rukama, napustile su dvije francuske lake krstarice Le Terrible i Le Malin i brzinom od 25 \u010dvorova uputile se prema dalmatinskoj obali. Britanske prislu\u0161ne slu\u017ebe ve6 su od ranije imale informacije da njema\u010dki konvoj treba isploviti prema Gr\u010dkoj pa je odlu\u010deno da ga se presretne i uni\u0161ti. Oko 21 sat francuske krstarice nalazile su se oko 20 nauti\u010dkih milja ju\u017eno od otoka Premude, plove\u0107i u smjeru sjeverozapada. lstovremeno je njema\u010dki sastav plovio prema jugoistoku pa su se oba sastava pribli\u017eavala me\u0111usobnom brzinom od oko 40 \u010dvorova. lspred njema\u010dkog konvoja na udaljenosti od oko 3 \u2013 4.000 metara plovili su minolovci radi pretra\u017eivanja mina. Oko 21.35 sati na francuskim brodovima uspostavljen je radarski kontakt s neprijateljskim konvojem na udaljenosti od 17.000 metara. Uskoro su s francuskih brodova mogli i okom vidjeti njema\u010dki konvoj. Krstarice su pove\u0107ale brzinu na 30 \u010dvorova i pribli\u017eile se obali otoka lsta, kako bi bile na tamnijem dijelu horizonta. Kada je u 21.44 udaljenost pala na 8.000 metara, francuski su brodovi otvorili vatru. Njema\u010dki brodovi odmah su uzvratili vatrom, ali je poslije samo 4 minute, u 21.48 pogo\u0111en \u201cKapitan Diedrichsen\u201d s udaljenosti od 4.000 metara, a u 21.57 pogo\u0111ena je i torpiljarka TA 37 Gladio. Krstarice su produ\u017eile prema sjeverozapadu i naisle na korvetu UJ 201 Egeria koja je vise puta pogo\u0111ena, nakon \u010dega je eksplodirala i potonula. Francuski brodovi prekinuli su paljbu i uskoro su se izgubili iz vida. Njema\u010dki konvoj bio je u kriti\u010dnom stanju. \u201cKapitan Diedrichsen\u201d je bio u plamenu, a torpiljarka TA 37 Gladio je bila te\u0161ko o\u0161te\u0107ena, s jednim strojem izvan pogona i tako\u0111er u plamenu. TA 36 Stella Polare i UJ 205 Colubrina preuzeli su posadu sa zapaljenog broda \u201cKapitan Diedrich\u00ad sen\u201d i uputili se natrag prema Puli. Torpiljarka TA 37 je vlastitim pogonom nekako doplovila na oko 10 nauti\u010dkih milja ju\u017eno od Pule, gdje se zaustavila zbog prodora mora u dva potpalubna prostora i strojarnicu . Ova teglja\u010da upu\u0107ena u susret preuzela su je u tegalj, a pridru\u017eili su im se teglja\u0107 Marittimo i eskortni brod G 104 pa je o\u0161te\u0107ena torpiljarka napokon dotegljena u Pulu. Minolovci su ostali u blizini zapaljenog \u201cKapitan Diedrichsen\u201d. No pokusaj tegljenja nije uspio i brod je od dobivenih o\u0161te\u0107enja u 11.45 sati potonuo. Prema njema\u010dkim podacima, pozicija potonu\u0107a bila je 44\u00b0 19\u2032 N i 14\u00b0 21\u2032 E, a brod je potonuo na dubinu od 62 metra, legav\u0161i desnim bokom na dno. Od 96 \u010dlanova posade jedan je poginuo, a 5 ih je bilo ranjeno.<\/p>\n<p>Tako je neslavno zavr\u0161ila ova bri\u017eljivo planirana i pripremana operacija, koja je imala za posljedicu da u Egejsko more nisu stigli toliko potrebni brodovi, sto je za Nijemce znatno ote\u017ealo ionako ozbiljnu situaciju u Gr\u010dkoj.<\/p>\n<p><strong>OLUPINA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pozicija olupine je blizu granice hrvatskih teritorijalnih voda, nekih 500 m unutar hrvatskog podru\u010dja. Povremeno se mogu susresti jake struje koje mogu uzrokovati da prilikom zarona ne pogodimo olupinu, pa se zato treba dobro pripremiti. Nakon sto se uz pomo\u0107 GPS-a i dubinomjera prona\u0111e olupina, najbolje je da se na poziciju olupine baci plovak s tankim konopom i utegom da se ona to\u010dno obilje\u017ei. Najvi\u0161i dio olupine ne\u0161to je pli\u0107i od 50 metara, a dubina dna je oko 62 metra. Prvih trideset metara more zna biti vrlo bistro, ali se s pove\u0107anjem dubine vidljivost smanjuje. Tek kada se prije\u0111e \u010detrdeset metara, po\u010dne se nazirati neki pravilan obris olupine.<\/p>\n<p>Trup brada, koji je prevrnut pod kutom od oko 45 stupnjeva, le\u017ei otprilike u smjeru istok \u2013 zapad, s time da je pramac olupine okrenut u smjeru istoka. Najpli\u0107i dio je ljuljna kobilica koja str\u0161i okomito prema povr\u0161ini i nalazi se negdje na sredini trupa. Ako se spustimo niz trup koji je zbog jakih morskih struja debelo obrastao \u0161koljkama, spu\u017evama\u00a0 i drugim\u00a0 morskim\u00a0 raslinjem,\u00a0 do\u0107i \u0107emo\u00a0 do\u00a0 ostataka\u00a0 nadgra\u0111a\u00a0 koji\u00a0 su\u00a0 napola zariveni u pijesak. U sjeni palube po\u010divaju velike \u0161karpine kojih ima posvuda i koje, nenavikle na ronioce, dopu\u0161taju\u00a0 da im se posve pribli\u017eimo. Bo\u010dna\u00a0 stranica\u00a0 nadgra\u0111a\u00a0 ima\u00a0 karakteristi\u010dne otvore gornjih paluba (koridora)\u00a0 koji su svojstveni toj klasi brodova sto nam je olak\u0161alo prepoznavanje \u201cDiedrichsena\u201d. Na nadgra\u0111u je niz prozora pravokutnog oblika, koji su svi otvoreni. Vjerojatno su stakla ispala zbog visoke temperature od po\u017eara koji je bjesnio nekoliko sati prije potonu\u0107a. Kroz vrata na nadgra\u0111u ma\u017ee se zaviriti u unutra\u0161njost.\u00a0 Hodnici su dobro o\u010duvani iako u njima ima mulja, pa treba dobra paziti da se kre\u010demo bez pomicanja peraja. U unutra\u0161njosti se mogu uo\u010diti razne cijevi i instalacije na stropu, lampe u hodnicima i drugi detalji, ali vidi se da je\u00a0 i tu po\u017ear uni\u0161tio sve predmete koji nisu bili od metala. lspred nadgra\u0111a, odmah\u00a0 na glavnoj palubi koja je sada okrenuta naopako, je bo\u010dna platforma\u00a0 s\u00a0 protuzrakoplovnim\u00a0 topom\u00a0 koji\u00a0 je toliko\u00a0 obrastao\u00a0 \u0161koljka\u0161ima i spu\u017evama\u00a0 da je prakti\u010dno nemogu\u0107e prepoznati o kojem se tipu topa radi. Jedino debelo obrasla cijev koja str\u0161i izvan boka broda daje naslutiti da se radi o topu.<\/p>\n<p>Plivaju\u0107i uzdu\u017e trupa vidimo da se on sve vise su\u017eava prema pramcu te naposljetku dolazimo do donjeg dijela pramca, na mjestu gdje on po\u00ad lako prelazi u vitki prednji dio koji se izvija prema vrhu pramca.\u00a0 Kobilica broda bila je dosta de\u00ad bela i na tom mjestu zaobljena posve isto kao i na fotografiji s porinu\u0107a broda. Pri vrhu pramca vidi se pravilna okrugla platforma \u010diji je gornji dio zariven u pijesak, a na kojoj se nalazio protuzrakoplovni top. Sada je top posve pod pijeskom, iz pijeska izviruje jedino okrugli pod platforme. lako je brod gotovo posve okrenut kobilicom prema povr\u0161ini pa mu je nadgrade ve\u0107im dijelom zariveno u mulj, njegovo detaljnije istra\u017eivanje otkriva puno zanimljivih detalja. Pram\u010dana skladi\u0161ta su prazna,jer je ugljen koji je brod prevozio izgorio u po\u017earu. Na podvodnom dijelu trupa pri pramcu je velika rupa, koju nije mogla napraviti granata, pa se njen nastanak maze pripisati jedino eksploziji morske mine, sto je moglo nastati dok je brod nakon borbe satima plutao bez kontrole. Kroz tu rupu maze se s gornje strane u\u0107i u prednje teretno skladi\u0161te, pro\u0107i sve do nadgra\u0111a i onda ispod ruba palube izroniti iz skladi\u0161ta. Posvuda oko broda razbacane su \u010deli\u010dne ba\u010dve s gorivom, sto je bio dio brodskog tereta.<\/p>\n<p>Krmeni dio broda je tako\u0111er vrlo impresivan, s velikim \u010detverokrakim vijkom i jednako tako velikim listom kormila koji su djelomi\u010dno ,omotani u ribarske mre\u017ee. U krmena teretna skladi\u0161ta mo\u017ee se u\u0107i ako zaronimo ispod ruba palube koja je nekih 3-4 metra iznad dna. Skladi\u0161ta su prostrana, ali prazna jer je teret ugljena izgorio u po\u017earu. Na dnu oko krme tako\u0111er je velik broj ba\u010dvi za gorivo, a dijelovi krmenog jarbola i drugi dijelovi opreme le\u017ee razbacani uz olupinu.<\/p>\n<p>Zbog svoje dubine, ali i udaljenosti od kopna, posjet\u00a0 i istra\u017eivanje\u00a0 ove\u00a0 olupine\u00a0 nije\u00a0 jednostavno pa je potrebna dobra priprema i pouzdan brod.
